
Fika Cafe is located at secluded corner of Arab Street and Beach Road.
I went there with my friend for brunch on a beautiful Saturday morning.
When we pushed the wooden door and stepped in the restaurant, it was quite empty as the business just started.

Mango, Pomelo & Sago Sweet Soup is my favorite dessert all the time.
Like the creamy liquid texture and it's really enjoyable when the juicy pamelo flesh pops out in the mouth.
Go to give a try on this dessert.

I met my highschool mates few weeks ago at Somerset.
We didn't decide on what to eat until we passed by Italiannies.
The restaurant was quiet and empty.
There were only 2 tables occupied as we entered at 7pm.
I have walked by this restaurant few times, while going to client side to install applications and user trainning.

I can't resisit the art of the dessert
even though I am not a sweet tooth person. When I see the charming and delicate dessert,
they chase away my dull day.
Found a new place for hang out, Honeymoon. It is a newly open dessert restaurant at Bugis Junction.
Compare to normal hawker centre, the food is a little bit pricey here due to location and air-con provided.
The way they prepare the dessert is quite sophiscated and skillful.
For those who love dessert, you may surprise by their variety options, such as Chinese style dessert,
Thai black glutinous, sweet ball-crushed, Tofu pudding, sago,
grass jelly, snacks and durian special.
This was my first time visiting Honeymoon with my friends.
We indulged ourselves with black sesame soup, walnut paste soup,
red bean soup and these delicate glutinous rice balls with coarsely sugar, peanuts and coconuts.
Please trust me, the dessert look tantalizing and really taste good!

週末,睡到自然醒。
起來後突然很想吃太陽蛋吐司。
做法和準備材料皆簡單。
材料:
蛋,麵包,橄欖油,鹽適量,胡椒粉適量
做法:
1. 用馬克杯壓在麵包中央,把麵包中央掏空。
2. 橄欖油熱鍋,把麵包置入鍋中。
3. 把蛋輕輕的打入掏空的麵包中央。
4. 轉溫火,以免蛋白部分被煎焦,上層部分蛋白還是透明的。蓋上鍋蓋,把上層蛋白悶熱。
5. 在太陽蛋上灑上適量的胡椒和鹽,大告功成啦!
心得:
我喜歡吃熱騰騰的食物,尤其是蛋類。
熱吃還可以聞到蛋的香味,冷卻的蛋很難吃。
麵包被煎得酥脆,一口酥酥的麵包,一口軟軟的蛋白,香味在我口裡四處奔放。
這個突發其想的玩意兒,是從TOAST BOX的早餐麵包系列而來的。
週末在家休息,可以吃一頓比較像樣的早餐。

興趣要溶入生活。
出外飲食,與朋友聊天聚餐,是我最感興趣的交流方式。
萬聖節,高中同學張羅了一個飯局,在Hotel River View的Irodori Japanese Restaurant訂了5個位。
與姊妹們在餐桌上,邊用餐,邊盡情聊天,這種場景頗有情趣。
Irodori是一間日本buffet料理餐廳。
服務方式是客人不必離開餐桌,看了餐牌上的食物跟服務生點菜,熱騰騰的新鮮食物就送上。
客人可以點一人份的精緻壽司,或是點一盤五六種壽司,混合搭配,壯觀的一起上桌。
整個晚上,最壓軸的就是這盤縱情生冷新鮮魚片。
大家吃得盡興,聊得暢快,歡樂之餘,又叫了一瓶梅子酒。我酒量一向不怎麼樣.加了冰塊的梅子酒,甜甜的,在口裡感覺不到一絲的酒精味。
我一口接一口陶然的喝,過了幾分鐘,全臉都紅了起來,連眼白也變成了兔子一樣紅。
一起來碰碰杯,祝大家萬聖節快樂。
這就是Irodori的用餐環境。餐廳不大,整體上,用餐相當愉快,這種舒暢,也許來自服
務生的態度好,食物的新鮮,環境雅潔,餐具衛生別緻。我想,最最最重要的,當然是來自舊同學的出席與參與,為這個晚上帶來了滿滿的歡樂笑聲。
