You will see sambal sauce when dine in Indonesian restaurant. Well prepared decent sambal can drive you to the heaven. No doubt, I like sambal.
After checked in hotel, it was 3pm. Everyone was hungry. We dared not try street food in the first day we arrived in Yogjakarta. To cure our hunger, we searched a restaurant nearby hotel which looks hygiene and safe to eat.
Ayam penyet (fried chicken) is the famous and popular dish in Indonesia. Deep fried marinated chicken, it goes nice with sambal. People can't resist its crunchy crispy skin although it is not healthy. When you are in holiday mood, you would not be calculative about the amount of calories in the food.
I love Avocado regardless of it is made of salad or milk shake. Indonesian friends told me Avocado milk shake is very common in restaurant. It can mix with coffee, cocoa, or sugar syrup. I ordered Avocado milk shake with sugar syrup for my first meal in Yogjakarta.
Fried tapioca is a kind of snack in South Asia. It tastes as good as potato chips. Nice to have something to chew while waiting our food to be served . After we visited Borobudur, we were exhausted due to exposed under the scorching sun. The driver brought us to the restaurant for lunch.
This is Indonesian fried noodles. The food appearance looks good and it tastes delicious too.
Gado-gado is a kind of salad. This is not as good as I thought despite it's served in the nice bowl.
We went to Pizza Hut for our last dinner in Yogjakarta. Above dish is fried fish ball serve with white rice and ketchup. It really tasted good.
The presentation of lasagna looks delightful and temptation.
